Edinburgh Fringe First winner Donal O’Kelly’s latest solo show, based on Frank Sheehy-Skeffington, dubbed Hairy Jaysus by his friend James Joyce.

Sheehy-Skeffington was executed during the Easter Rising of 1916, not as one of the national martyrs, but as a crank – a marooned believer in a society based on equality.

Hairy Jaysus was broadcast on RTE Radio Drama on One in December 2013. Actor/writer Donal O’Kelly’s previous solo shows include the Edinburgh award-winning Fionnuala and Catalpa, as well as Jimmy Joyced! and Bat the Father Rabbit the Son.
